The Fox Hunt

Day 5 of sxsw tour and so far so great. We have already made a bunch of friends and had a couple great nights. Thanks to all who have came out so far. We are enjoying a night off and hanging with some good friends from the Whiskey Bent Valley Boys before heading to Nashville tomorrow to play at the 12 South Taproom.

We embark tomorrow on a southern tour that will take us to South by Southwest in Austin Texas. We’ll be taking our sweet time getting there and getting back, hitting up a couple of our favorite stops and a few new ones along the way. Keep an eye on our shows page to get a complete list of dates.

The Frostburg show that we had to cancel due to weather a month ago is rescheduled for this Thursday at Dante’s.  So let your boss know now that you are gonna be late and unproductive at work on Friday.

Mad thanks to all CD release partiers.  That was a blast and a night to remember for us.  Hope everyone enjoys the CD.  Thanks again to Greg Berry for opening up both shows.

Big thanks to everyone who came out to the Colonel Records Winter Ramble.   We had a great time and hardly got in any band brawls at all.  It was great to get some of that southern hospitality and avoid all this snow for a while.  We are gearing up this week for our CD release party at the Blue Moon in Shepherdstown WV on Sat Feb 20th.  Greg Berry, a Skull City legend, will be opening up for us and we are all super excited for that.

Sup Yuns.  The Fox Hunt and The Weight are heading to Florida today for a couple shows.  Come see us or come hang with us on superbowl sunday!!

The Fox Hunt will be going on tour in Feb with our good friends the Weight and G’damn Rattlesnake both from Brooklyn NYC. Sure to be a folkloricly debaucherous excursion. We would tell you what to expect if we knew. For a complete list of shows check our show section.

Hey yall. We are releasing our third full length album Feb. 20, 2010. It is called Long Way To Go and is comprised of 12 original tracks.
